Let's make one thing clear first, I am not a 'Democrat.' In fact, I think three-quarters of those who refer to themselves these days aren't really 'democrats.' They are leftists wearing democratic clothing, but I can assure you there is nothing democratic about leftist regimes. Read your history books, kiddies. Read and learn.
That being said, I have had a deep and abiding dislike of Hillary Clinton since her hubby Bill first took office and she took it upon herself to attem...
THINGS HILLARY WANTS YOU TO FORGETThis is from an email forward I got a few days ago. I repost it now to support Loca's assertion that Hillary is more (so much more!) than an ex-Presiden'ts wife. I'll add tidbits of my own as commentary progresses, feel free to do the same yourself!Hillary Clinton has been telling America that she is the most qualified candidate for president based on her "record," which she says includes her eight years in the White House as First Lady - or "co-president"...
As you can see, I wrote this article over a year ago, but am reposting it now in response to Locamama's complaint, "Obama is not Elvis!" which can be read here....http://locamama.joeuser.com/article/300185/Barack_Obama_is_not_Elvisro?
Barack Obama, Numinous Negro?By little-whip Posted January 31, 2007 05:34:52Recently, while reading an article in the National Review about the surge in Democratic candidates seeking the Presidency, I came across an unfamiliar term, 'The Numinous Negro' in...
First of all....pFFFtttT to the Republican Party for making their choice before I even had a chance to vote for a candidate, effectively rendering any vote in their primary (not just mine, anyone's) useless from that point on.
Hmm, so I want MY vote to have some sort of influence. If I can't have that, I may as well stay home today. (Virginia's Primary is today.)
That leaves me to vote in the Democratic Primary instead.
Poor Hillary just can't seem to win....
....and neither can the American people, it seems....

Hahah, I don't listen to Rush Limbaugh (or anyone else, for that matter) but my dad was giggling about this song during a phone call the other day so I had to hear it for myself. I understand it's heard *often* on Limbaugh's show. It made me giggle too, but now I feel so....so....dirty somehow. Hahhaahhaa.
Enjoy.

As I write this, reporters are awaiting a news conference in which John Kerry is expected to endorse Barack Obama for the 2008 Democratic Presidential Nomination.
Hmmm, isn't this the man who was to give us John Edwards as VP in 2004?
Doesn't he like John Edwards anymore? Or is this just another characteristic flip-flop from the prince of duplicity?
Hey, John, is that a knife sticking out of your back or are you just happy to be leaving this race sooner than you anticipated?
Oh ho...
Thank you, TA, for the inspiration for this article. I had a more serious notion to write about liberals holding children up as political hostages (making a vote against any insanely flawed, hugely expensive, or poorly thought-out legislation a 'vote against children') but your article entitled "Let's Throw ALL the Bums Out" awakened my parody muse. Please take this in the spirit intended, as for the rest of you, TA's original article can be seen here--> Link

InBloom recently posted an article asking if we'll be hearing Hillary Clinton referred to as a 'bitch' if she's elected President. I had to chuckle because she's already referred to in such a manner, and worse. So is George Bush, for that matter. Her article can be found here-- Link
Her opinions reminded me of a discussion of the tern 'bitch' itself that I wrote about back in 2005, as well as it's relationship to and comparison to the word 'nigger.' I suggested that InBloom search it ou...
Most of us have heard by now the insults that race-baiter extraordinaire Jesse Jackson has been tossing Obama's way this week. It seems that Mr. Jackson takes issue with the fact that Obama hasn't dropped everything he's doing (like campaigning for President) in order to stage some grand appearance in Jena, Louisiana, presumeably to 'make a statement' about racism.
For those of you living in caves, the Jena case involves 6 black high school students charged with aggravated battery for gangi...
Lets get one thing out of the way first, before all you hand-wringers and chicken-littles start carrying on about the terrible injustice, expense, and impracticality of rounding up and deporting millions of illegals...this is not the solution I advocate. What I, and many other Americans would like to see is simple 'enforcement through attrition.'
In other words, secure our borders, start enforcing the laws we already have on the books, and do nothing else. The illegals already here would be...
One of my pet peeves is watching an otherwise intelligent, 'well meaning' liberal thoughtlessly repeating misinformation and outright lies that they've seen elsewhere without taking a little time to investigate the validity of these lurid sound bytes designed to do nothing more than generate an emotional knee-jerk response from their audience.
Take Leebral Loca, for example. This morning, in a debate (if you can call it that) about abortion, she chided those of us who oppose socialized healt...
~throws self off chair, Belushi style.
Hearing the news today that Los Angeles' mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa, has announced an impending divorce (brought about by his admitted infidelity to his wife) was nothing but yawn-inspiring until it was revealed that a USA Today poll indicated that 58% of those responding felt that the private lives of our civil servants make little or no difference in their ability to do their job.
I can see both sides of the argument, and am undecided as to how I feel about it at this point. On one hand,...
I really don't know why anyone would be upset by Jimmy Carter recently referring to George Bush as 'the worst President in history.'
Yeah, yeah, I know that many of you reading this feel the title belongs to Jimmy Carter--and this article is for you, haha. In a recent article by Steve Chapman (Human Events) many similarities are pointed out, so many in fact that I was reminded of the 'creepy coincidences' essay that's circulated for decades, the one which compares Lincoln to JFK.
Let's ta...
